The animals were made using modelling paste. No mold was used, only templates to create the clouds, sun, bushes,... Cutters were used to make the flowers, name and tree leaves. The wires used were not touching the cake itself, but being hold by a piece of modelling paste which was removed before consuming the cake. The board was covered in light green paste, painted with bright green lustre dust. All colours were added to the paste, not ready coloured sugarpaste was used, except the red letters. Paste colours were used instead to colour the sugarpaste.
