The top tier was sponge with jam & buttercream filling, other tiers were fruit cake covered in marzipan. All tiers were covered in white sugarpaste and then piped with extension work and delicate piping. Small red flowerpaste rosebuds and piped leaves are around the base of each cake. Sprays of roses and leaves are on top of each cake which are separated by crystal look pillars.
