Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Made a very little cake for my sis-in-laws 60th birthday. There having a family dinner tomorrow, just four of them. Just couldn’t see her not having a cake for such a special birthday. It’s a surprise. I made a gumpaste teapot for the top as she’s a huge tea drinker.
Two cakes nestled together. Bottom is marbled chocolate & white sour cream cake, top is spice cake. Her fav colour is green…..hence different colours of. Thought the yellow flowers made it cheerful….. :o)

Thanks Katy.
I really wanted to add gumpaste "cut outs" to the teapot, then go over with lustre dust. But it's been raining here since Monday!!! The teapot is 100% gumpaste and I had to put it in my oven till yesterday morn to dry!! Knew I didn't have time to add more gumpaste, fear it wouldn't have hardened up. The flowers were made a week ago...they were as stiff as a board. Because of all the rain, flowers were soft & bendable. Guess that was better than brittle. & breakable.
