Hey theresa, It was a little tricky. The head is actually styrofoam. The bottom is cake. 

I ordered a mans mannequin head. Covered it in fondant. Then I took my sons iron man mask and formed gumpaste in it. Fitted the Mask to the head. Airbrushed.  The eyes are reflective tape. You can get at any hardware store. The front light is an iron man toy. Hope this helps! Good luck
