God bless the harvest
Harvest Cake done for Harvest Sunday at church. It was a carrot cake with cream cheese icing.

Hi Kim! The trick is to add some shortening and some extra powdered sugar to your recipe. It will help to stabilize it and will turn it into a crusting buttercream.let me know how it works for you!
