Carlette I always put all put all the small cakes on boards the same size or just a little bigger than the cakes. It is so much easier to handle. I will mail the recipe to you asap. Lekker baking.

Hi Thank you for the comment. I use the Peggy Porchen chocolate cake for this. It is a lovely moist cake. Because each cake is on a tiny board. It will not dry out form the bottom and the sugar paste will also keep it moist. If you do not have any of her books , I can send you the recipe.
Anny, how do you esnure that these small cakes stay moist? I'm worried about doing an order like this for fear of them drying out on the stand
