Thank you for all the lovely comments. Yes June, I prefer mudcake with ganache - it is so firm and easy to shape and the ganache gives you a really sharp edge. It was pouring rain when I made this Thomas, so the fondant and flower paste weren't holding up to well, but because you have such a firm sharp surface underneath it counteracts it.
