first fondant cake

this is my first time to make a fondant cake. gave this to my husband's grandfather. moist chocolate cake. hand painted (gold) with piped royal icing design. fondant ribbon strip. This wasn't how i originally pictured the cake, but because of a blunder while piping the gold royal icing, i had to rescue the fondant. So I ended up painting it with gold gel color.
