Try using royal icing Shaira. It dries as hard as a rock & the humidity doesn't affect it the same as BC.

thanks for the kind words, June! it's the 2nd time i tried doing the cornelli lace. i had a hard time doing it. it's been incredibly hot these past few weeks. my buttercream ends up melting. i had to re-do the designs on that cake 2x. how i wish we had colder weather in manila!
