@ Anne......Well...I just put tooth picks down the middle ,so I would know the half way line and then put the icing on with a cake knife,and I did the sides,two pink and two blue to match......But wax paper may work??!!!Thanks for asking!

Would appreciate any tips u can give me on a two tone cake, do u cover the one side with wax paper?
