Marzipan is Sooooo delicious, I dont really like the taste of fondant, its way to sweet
But its a lot of work making it your own I think I am glad you can easily buy it here
Most of the time I make my decoration from fondant with some tylose, so it will hard out

My grand children would go crazy over these. They love marzipan. It is not readily available in America like it is in Europe. I had never tasted it before until we lived in Germany, and I fell in love with it. I finally had to search the Internet to find a good European recipe so that I could make my own so I could make all of the fun figurines at Christmas time. Where I live, hardly anyone has ever even heard of it.

The little girl was very happy :))) the frogs are all from marzipan, the grass is buttercreme, and the little flowers are fondant too

Are the frogs marzipan, gum paste, or fondant? You put a lot of work into these! I'll bet some little child was one happy nine year old!
