hi sorry for the late reply but have been away looking after my ill mum hear is brife description of how this was done

items needed

a small bucket or flower pot

plaster

wooden dowle

ribbon

glue

polystyrene ball

how

mix plaster according to instructions and 3/4 fill bucket, insert dowll and let set according to instructions

wrap ribbon around dowell using a small amount of glue so that it dose not move, push ball on to dowel then remove put a small amount of glue in hole and re incert on to dowl cover ball in fondant or tin foil or cling film then melt some chocolate and use this as glue for your sweets hope this helps.
