3 tier Hexagon shaped cake. Covered in satin ice white vanilla fondant that I colored with sky blue Americolor gel coloring. Borders were cut from white fondant and after applied to cake brushed with simple syrup and covered with sugar crystals. Snowflakes were made in advance using Satinice gumpaste, and cut usint the PME snowflake plunger cutters. They were painted with a mixture of vodka and white pearlized petal dust. Each tier was decorated before the cake was stacked. for support I used traditional hollow plastic supports that I cut to fit each tier. The little snowman in front was made from a mixture of fondant and gumpaste. He was modeled by hand.
