It's such a small world! Well I hope you do get to visit. Cardiff in particular is a beautiful city full of heritage. If you have the chance to come further west, please do visit the gower peninsula which is 10 miles further west than Swansea. Jx

My Mom was from Stranraer, Scotland. She actually had friends in Cardiff she use to see went she went back home. I just retired, and I really want to go over & see where she grew up & visit my last & only cousin left their, outside of London.

It was for a male's 30th birthday (yesterday.....so very recent cake!). The birthday boy grows bonsai trees as a hobby. Jx

Hi there June, yes everything on that cake is edible! I made the rocks using fondant icing and good colouring paste that hasn't been mixed through completely so you get that veined effect. The tree is edible only to a point though because it has 20gauge wire through it to form the structure of the trunk and branches.
