Hudson's ELMO 1st Birthday Cake
My grandson Hudson’s 1st birthday. Made everything in 48 hrs., which was rushed for me. Wasn’t crazy about Elmo’s head..but just didn’t have enough time to fiddle with it. Drove me crazy cause I’m such a perfectionist. I also woke up with a sore throat and a cough...and Steve had to help me put Elmo's face on as I had a migraine "aura"...went blind for about 45 minutes till my meds kicked in. Then one of Elmo's eyes fell off in transit, and the black pupil slid to the side…geez…..repaired as best I could on arrival. Heck, being Hudson is only one, I don’t think he much cared…but his Mom, my daughter, and son-in-lw, were pleased, and that’s what counts. My grandson has never had ANY sugar..zero, zip, zilch….so this piece of cake & fondant was it. He thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Thanks Becky. ... Wouldn't normally, but since it was my grandsons, couldn't disappoint. One of the reasons I'm not in business ....just fun.... :o)

This is a wonderful cake, June! Don't really know how it could be better :o) Sorry you felt so bad for such a special occasion. Hudson is adorable and looks like he was suitably impressed with his first taste of sugar!
