Hubby's Birthday Cake
I had planned on taking my time to practice buttercream flowers. Unfortunately it did not work out that way. I had to rush thru it and this is the result. It is coconut cake/coconut custard filling & pineapple, frosted with coconut rum cooked frosting. This is his favorite combination.

Thanks Betty. This is hubby's favorite flavor combination. I am determined to do another buttercream cake but taking my time to get it the way I want to. Something always seems to happen that I end up having to rush like today.

Thanks Sandra. I did those before I went to the doctor's with my brother-in-law. By the time I got back, it was almost time for hubby to get home so the rest was rush rush rush. Made it with only 15 minutes to spare.

I think it turned out very pretty, Coreti. My first thought was how good your buttercream chrysanthemums look! It sounds delicious, too!
