Morning Inoka.   Thanks!  That is my version of a smiley face!  lol  And it had been soooo long since I had made any of the boiled type icing, I really miss it!  It tastes so good too!

Well Betty, it is his favorite too!  And the only other 2 cakes he will eat are pound cake, and banana bread.  I can count on him to eat 1, and maybe even 2, slices of them, then I have to eat the rest.  Just hate to see them go to waste. lol  I did have just a weeee piece of this one....

Looks yummy--my husband usually ends up scraping most of the buttercream too since he saw how much butter goes into SMBC
