My son's "fierce" 7th birthday cake. It was a huge hit with everyone...especially the birthday boy! What could be better than a larger than life, JAWS buttercream explosion!

Hi Diane: Thanks. Everyone had a blast taking pictures with "JAWS"! There is a very strong wooden cake board with another cake board on an angle under the jaws to support the weight of the cake. The snout and the jaws of the cake are formed out of cereal treats, as are the waves at the bottom of the shark. I wanted to ensure a very realistic look - especially near the snout and jaws and it's easier to with cereal treats. Each tooth was made from gum paste, stuck onto a toothpick and individually serraded and then inserted into the mouth to look like real Great White teeth. They had the scary look I was after. Hope that helps! Good luck!
