Thank you so much Jessie, we do have Duncan Hines and Betty Crocker frosting here, I will write down what you wrote so I won´t forget.   Thank you so much again for your advices.

Hi Luz,

I use the lollipop sticks. Do not use buttercream on the cake to hold it together, it softens to fast. Use the frosting you would use too decorate the outside of your cake. We have Duncan Hines and Betty Crocker frosting here, not sure if you guys use that stuff there.. Don't leave your stick in, make the I temptation in the cake ball, freeze them, when your ready just dip the stick in the chocolate , stick it into the ball, this helps hold the ball into the stick because the chocolate will harden really quickly because the ball is frozen. Please make sure what ever chocolate.ate your using is not hot when you dip the Ball, it will not stick well.

Jessie, thank you so much  for your tip, definitely I will try it.  I´m not using cake frosting and I leave the stick in and also I don´t freeze them!  I´m not doing it right.  Do you use plastic, paper or  wooden sticks?  Thank you again!

Hi Luz,

I make mine with cake and cake frosting. I roll them, pierce the stick through (don't leave stick in) freeze them for about 2 hours, warm up the chocolate, pull one ball out from the freezer at a time. Put a little chocolate on the tip of the stick, put the stick into the ball, and then dip the whole thing into the chocolate. Let it hang upside down for a few seconds, and then rest the, to dry. The chocolate will harden within seconds because the cake ball is frozen

Hi luz,

Do you freeze the actual cake pop before you dip it in chocolate????

Your cake pops are beautiful, I´m always worried when I make them because most of the time they begin to melt so I can´t put they like the ones in your picture.  They have to be facing down.  So I just make them for family reunions I´m affraid to sell them.  I use Candy Melt (it comes from Mexico) I think it is a good product, but the weather here in Guatemala is just to hot.  You have to keep them in the fridge!

Did I understand correctly?  You get Merkens chocolate at a Michael's store?  Which one?  The ones in my area don't carry anything but the Wilton melts=yuck.  I get mine at a local outlet but they only carry white & milk chocolate.
