Hubby's Birthday Cake
I had planned on taking my time to practice buttercream flowers. Unfortunately it did not work out that way. I had to rush thru it and this is the result. It is coconut cake/coconut custard filling & pineapple, frosted with coconut rum cooked frosting. This is his favorite combination.

Thanks Maria. I am determined to make one that I can actually take the time to do it properly. Not sure when that will be since hubby is complaining about putting on weight on doesn't want any more cakes.

For me it's fine Goreti. and you are better than me I haven't done any buttercream flowers. Maybe next time make your buttercream stiffer and it will be perfect.

Thanks Bonnie & Katie. Katie, the mums were the only ones that I took a little time on. Right after I had to leave to go w/my brother-in-law to the doctor. By the time I got back, there wasn't much time before hubby got home so rush rush rush.
