Thanks Alma.  I really struggle with faces.  Usually end up doing 2 because always end up hating the first one.

Love this it is difficult to make decorations that are human shaped for me. Great Job! So cute!

Thanks Katy.  I think I see some improvement in my figures but still a work in progress.

I'm so impressed the way you dress your figures Goreti - I'm hopeless at it!

Thanks Bonnie.  I was pretty happy about how this one turned out.

The total effect is wonderful.  Again, love the board!  But this cutie pie IS the top!

Sandra, this is the second version of the topper.  I was not happy with the face or the way I did the dress.  Mind you the recipient of the cake was happy with it but not me.  This face I did not paint.  I used gumpaste for everything.  What I thought would be the easiest thing to do was the rosary but I had a hard time with it.  I did do it ahead of time and then threaded some dental floss.

Goreti, you did a wonderful job on your little girl!  I am pretty much in awe of the little shoes and the gathers in her skirt and I love her expression.  Did you make the beads for the rosary in advance, let them dry then string them or did you just position them so they appear to be strung?
