My first hydrangea - Made for Show-and-Tell at the next Cake Club, Nashville meeting. Patsy demonstrated how to make the hydrangea at the last meeting and we are supposed to bring in our effort for the next meeting.

I don't care for that cutter either.  Actually don't like doing hydrangeas at all.  I bought an inexpensive plunger set from Ebay & tried again.  I find that hydrangeas you need to leave them thicker or else they break when you try to put them together.  I tried getting them nice & thin but I broke sooooo many petals.  Don't think I will be making them again.  Too annoying.

Thank you, Goreti.  This is the first time I've made hydrangeas and I really do not like the cutter that came with the Wilton kit.  It is too big and I think they need a few lines in the petals.

How lovely!  I love hydrangeas.  I was born in the island of St. Michael in the Azores and you see these everywhere.  The roads are lined with them.

Thank you, Betty. This is what my bush always does.....doesn't know if it is acid or sweet so it has both colors at once.
