Shrek & Fiona's Wedding Cake
This cake was created for the Panhandle Cake CRUMBS annual competition. The 2010 theme was fairy tales so I created Shrek & Fiona's Wedding Cake. Shrek's side was covered with earthworms, snails, torn fabric, moths, and beetles and topped with onions. Fiona's side was elegant with quilting, lace, stringwork & extensionwork, and topped with roses. The cake won Best of Show, 1st Place Professional, and Crowd's Favorite
