Thank you so much, I have been stressing over how to make the string look realistic. Yours look better than any I had seen.

Oh and I used a needle to actually tread it through a piece of fondant then attached that to the base, then threaded them through the pieces on the top.

I just used black thread, it was the only thing not eddiable on the cake.

I love it. What did you use for the string? I will be making a guitar cake in a couple of weeks and was just wondering.
