Used 1/2 half of the round ball cake pan set by Wilton for the top, and three or four (can't remember now) 6" round cake layers for the body. Rice Krispy treats for the arms and foot. All covered in fondant and detailed in fondant and lines drawn with food paste.

Thank you Tracy! This little guy took longer than I expected. If I do it again, I'll have to allow more time. My grandson and I were up way past 3:00am working on this cake, and then because he didn't think we had it detailed out enough, he came back in the mid-morning the next day to finish up all of the lines. (He drove me nuts because my grandson does not have time management skills down very well and I literally had to set the table all around him as he was detailing all of the lines out. He is one of those people who gets so focused on what he is doing that he blocks out everything that is going on around him and loses track of time!)

The other thing that I had not anticipated, was that it took way more fondant than I had on hand, so my grandson and husband had to go out and see if there were any stores open to buy more fondant! Live and learn....

Amazing Job Linda. Just realised I've not looked through all of your gallery!!!! - I'm on my way through it now. There's a lovely surprise each picture I see. What wonderful work :) xx

I don't know that I could have done this without my 20 year old grandson helping. He was a stickler for details.

Thank you Eileen! That was a tough week-end when I made that cake. It was for my grandson, Trevor, and he and my husband share the same week for birthdays, so when I made this cake, I also made a stein cake for my husband. What an experience! My grandson was here helping me (he turned 20 that birthday) and he is a stickler for detail, so we were still working on that cake until 3:00am! I then had to get up and cook their birthday dinner the next day. Ugh!
