I was stuck on what to make for my Mom's friend's granddaughter's 8th grade graduation.  They weren't wearing caps and gowns.  The school colors were lavender & silver.  I asked her to bring me a photo of Alexis.  She showed me a picture of her wearing the PINKEST prom dress I ever saw so that's when I decided to do the grad cap anyway.  I covered it in electric pink colored fondant, applied piping gel & then covered in sparkling pink sugar.
