To make the glue,  I heat a small amount of water, put small pieces of gumpaste in it, mix until it disolves and looks like a thick paste.  I keep mine in a glass baby food jar.  You also can use fondant but I think the gumpaste holds better.

Hi Alene,

Thanks...i did start making it today as it is for Saturday.  I made the sole and the heel.  I will do the rest of it tomorrow.  How do you make gumpaste glue??

Hi Meera,

 Make sure you make several days ahead of time.   I think I found the pattern on Cake Central.  Cut each piece out of gumpaste.  I think I used a toothpick to support the heal.  It's been awhile since I made it.  I used gumpaste glue to glue each piece.  Don't know if this was any help.

I would love to know how you made your heel....i have to make one for this weekend!! Any helpful tips would be great!
