Nichole,
Could I ask, what colors did you use to get the blue color?
Thanks Sherry!! I'm sure you will.
I love this cake and my daughter is expecting in July. The shower is in June, I hope that I can come close to making mine as pretty as yours.
thank u so much and sorry to bother u so much but ur cakes are so inspiring :)
Alma, I cut strips of fondant 6" long by 1" wide. Since the cake was a 6' round this would create a bow as wide as the top of the cake. Fondant bow tutorial from www.cakeboss.com. This is the tutorial I used to create the bow. Hope this helps!
thanks so much Is my sister baby shower soon and she feel in love with Ur cake I'm going to try to make it :) if you don't mind. one last question with the bow how where u able to get it that big?
Alma, I enlarged the giraffe on the party invite onto copy paper and cut it out. I laid it on my rolled out fondant and traced around it with a knife. The zebra stripes were the most difficult. Those were done with a knife and I used a zebra print as a reference.
i have a question how where u able to make the giraffe moldings
so cute
