This is beautiful!  I have never seen the peacock done in royal icing, but you totally nailed it.

Thank you.  The body is three dimensional (sort of) but the back of it is flat on the cake.   I think I may have a side picture of it.  If I do I will send it to you.

Excellent,  I love peacocks.  Is the body of the peacock standing or flat on  the cake?
