We have a similar organisation in the UK, but, unfortunately you have to be registered and have food safety certificates etc to be able to participate.  Such as shame as it's something I would really love to have taken part in.

It is a slow process. It also took about 5 months before I got a request to do a cake. I was thinking the same thing.

I haven't heard anything back from Icing Smiles.  Guess they are not interested in me :o(

Both of the icing smiles cakes I've done have been hard. The last one was the truck with all the toys. I cringed when I got the details and saw "truck".

I have been beating around the bush wanting to sign up for Icing Smiles.  Yesterday I took the plung and sent an email to the director for our area.  Just watch, the first time someone wants me to do a cake, it will be a damn vehicle and I will have a heart attach.......or minecraft!

Thank you! This is my 4th truck to do. I don't particularly enjoy making vehicles but it is getting a little easier and less frustrating.
