Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Top tier is brushed embroidery on fondant, second tier is tufted billow weave, third tier is grosgrain ribbon lined with edible pearls, bottom tier is draped fondant. All is covered in pearl sheen using airbrush. The flowers are made from gum paste.

Absolutely beautiful!  Have no idea how you had time to do this while getting ready for your daughter's wedding.   I only have 2 wishes. One is I wish the lighting would have been better when the picture of this cake had been taken. I would have loved to have seen it in better lighting and see much more of the detail in the cake.  It looks nice now but if this had been shown in good lighting the cake would have been even 10x more beautiful looking. At least what's showing on my computer is a little dark. The second one is the picture showing the cake full size. Maybe it's just my computer but when I go to look at the cake full size all I can see is part of the table it's sitting on and so far I can't figure out a way to change the size of the picture on my end of it.

Linda - I don't think anyone is going to look at the staging of your cake.  The cake itself takes centre stage and forbids any straying of vision.  Many congratulations.
