That is gorgeous!  I wouldn't change a thing!

Just over a year ago I made the butterfly garden cake - one of my first outings with sugar flowers - I think I have a little more finess now and it would have been done differently now. I did like how it turned out though. Thank you for your encouraging words Tx

That's SO wonderful to (but three hours to work... my goodness...!) Have you ever made similar styls to this on a cake... If so... PLEASE post it!!! Thanks Tracy! :)

I have to agree with you on two things, Tracy!  I made some vintage cupcakes for a friend's daughter's wedding last year, and while they were nowhere the caliber of yours, they got me hooked.  I want to try more.  And, having had the 2010 Winter Olympics in our back yard so to speak, it was a mixture of havoc and excitement.  My husband got to see a few events through his work, but could never find a parking space and had to take several detours each day.

Thank you Timothy, I think I've decided this is my favorite style of cake to make. I put my heart into it.

The Olympics is very exciting, it's just a shame that we aren't really set up to be able to handle the chaos it's causing on our roads. It's taking my husband nearly 3 hours to get into Mayfair (London) each day for work due to the Olympic lanes. All that said it is fab when you get an Olympic cycling race going past the end of the road - the crowds have been electric with excitement.

Thank you Laurie. I made these for a neighbour of mine who has welcomed us into the area with open arms. We moved 3 months ago now. Unfortunately for her she's a diabetic :( , but was thrilled to receive them and promptly invited a few friends for afternoon tea. I'm glad you like them Tx
