Rosies shoes are shiny - once again the clear piping gel worked a treat. I put cocktail sticks in the legs and have dried them really well. She will lean against the cake for support once I've made it. I'm a bit worried that the sticks wont take her weight otherwise. I handpainted her skirt after ruffling it with my bulbous cone tool.

It's for a very demanding and deserving little girl - my niece who turns 3 years old on Monday :) photos in my portfolio though so at least I have a record of my capabilities. I'm blushing - Tx

Tracy, you truly are a sculpture, there is no doubt. I had to take a double take over and over to compare the two. Is this for a client? You should be getting big money for these kinds of cakes.

Yep, all handpainted....took a while & a very steady hand. I used flower paste for all the models as I wanted them to set like stone. It's also nice to paint onto. I used paste colour mixed with a little gin and just prayed it would be ok - I'd already stuck the skirt onto the body. did you notice I used my bulbous cone tool again. Woohoo! Thank you for your high praise Txx
