They are so small it isn't really an issue. I use Squires MMP or Flowerpaste and even though I've told customers there is an underlying chemical taste and wouldn't advise eating for flavour they still have. Lol. The whole of the Bew York cake was eaten - even Liberty and she was all Flowerpaste. Not my taste, but I think my customer wanted me to know nothing had been wasted :D

So the toppers would not be recommended for eating?

Katy - all Gumpaste. I can make a hundred at a time and store them nicely as they turn so hard. they are very snall and i can get nice sharp detail with the gumpaste. I need to have a back up now as a local coffee house take a regular order from me each week :)
