Thanks Violet, yes I used a mould. I used Squire Kitchen Boss square

I used a quarter of the mould for the edge of the lid - so it was a pretty good £7 spent. I covered the whole cake in a very thin layer of Fondant & then added the moulded pieces as I made them, just used a little water to stick them on.

This is fantastic. I love the detail of the box. Do you use a mould for each section?
