Ps, her head was a moulded from the Diamond Paste small faces mould. I think I paid about £7 for it. I used Squires kitchen mexican modeling paste to make her & hand painted her face with luster dust mixed with a little gin & a tiny paint brush. I popped a little ball of paste under her when she went on the cake which was hidden under her dress - she looked like she was flying :) x hope this helps.

Hi Lorraine,
Being self (YouTube, Google & books) taught I found a tutorial of how to make this fairy on YouTube. I had to give it a try & this was first attempt - it was a really detailed tutorial. Here is the link......

Its in two parts and she uses patchwork cutters. I bought the same ones, I'd never used them before. I was pretty pleased with her too. Good luck with yours, I'll be looking out for her. Txx

I would be so proud of myself if I could make these wee fairies. Can you tell me what you used for them and how they are supported.
