Cool Tracy - thanks!  We have one not too far away from us, so I may be taking a trip out soon.  And yes, I realised May was mat, but thanks anyway lol!

Katy, yes I've bought them from Hobbycraft.

Here is a link to what you should be looking for. They are called embossing folders. I lay my rolled sugar paste on my silicon may and put the folder on top and press into it. I then carefully pull the embossed sugar from the silicon may and cut into circles to top my cakes. Works a treat. By the way this one I've pointed you to is £3.99 :)

I will Tracy, thank you...I always looked at them just for paper crafting, but thinking could it be possible to use these on my cakes? jajajaj, and here you were using them already...

Tracy this sounds like a great idea.  I can't afford to get the rolling pins either - way too much for occasional use, but the sheets sound perfect.  I tend to look around my jewellery, boxes etc to see what I can use.  The topper on Lesley's 50th cake was from the lid of a Body Shop gift box!  Do you go to Hobbycraft for them, or what store do you use? xx

Sandra, try your local hobby store for paper embossing sheets. They are relatively cheap and perfect if you don't need anything bigger than 4"x6". Think they were about £4 or £5 each. Love the rolling pins but they are about £30 here.
Tracy x
