Awe - thats pretty special seen as though she knows (& tasted I'm sure) your cakes. These butterflies are part of the wedding cake I'm making for Thursday. Three heart shaped tiers of very pale blue fondant, with the butterflies flying in a slight spiral off to one side. Poor guy who ordered it is being let down everywhere. Photographer has goine on holiday & forgot about the booking, The linen company has gone bust with his deposit and no backup, and his best man has just broken his arm. He's panic stricken that the cake wont make it and is contacting me daily to check in on it. I have an 11" & 5" rich fruit cake (both being fed cognac) and an 8" Rich chocolate cake tier which is yet to be baked. He's now seen the blue butterflies and said Perfect.......Oh I so hope nothing else goes wrong for him. He's asked for the words 'Never Say Never' to be added to the side of the cake, as it's second time around for both him and his Bride2b. I have a 120 mile round journey to deliver this cake - no pressure then lol.

I can't wait to see what you are making, Tracy. My best friend here in town saw your cake on face book with the Romeo and Juliet and she called me the day she saw it and could not believe how beautiful it was. You are famous, even in Iowa! lol

Only about another 20 of these to go. All dry waiting for me to get going with the paint. Thinking about adding a touch of glitter to the very edges of their wings - I'll see how the mood takes me when I'm assembling the cake in the next couple of days.
