Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

This was made to put on top of a 12" square cake - I'll post a picture of the complete cake shortly. All sugar with hand painting. The little girl this was for is called Cassandra, so thats what the C is for. Hope you like it.

Can you imagine ALL that tedious hand stitching???? Yikes! I'd rather paint it on fondant!!

That one was 1750-1775 Rococo French. Just checked it out under Google images. There are some beautiful ones.

Looks so medieval! Like Mary, Queen of Scots & the like. Very Tudor. Amazing rendition.

I found a picture of a 'Stomacher' (below) and decided to loosely base it on this. I'm glad I kept the picture so I can show you :) xx
