Just got this rose cutter, and had to try it! It makes a very fast, if smallish, rose. Here I used 4 for the largest rose down to one for the smallest buds.

For anyone who is interested, I found the original Easiest Rose Ever Cutter on Etsy, with shipping and handling $17.53 USD.  Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Bonnie, where did you buy the metal cutter and plastic one?  What are they called?  Thanks

I agree with Sandra.  Yours look much more realistic than the ones in the video.

Thanks Betty, and thanks Sandra!  They are a bit faster this way too.  And since I rolled them really thin, they dried rapidly, so I could dust them in just a few hours.

Bonnie, your roses are prettier and more realistic than the ones in the video using the plastic cutter.  Don't know if that is due to the difference in the cutter or the artist.  Yes, small roses have their place, too!  Beautiful!

Gail, you wanted to know when mine came in...  There is a cutter called 'the easiest ever rose cutter', that was put up on the site this past week.  Made me go looking for a better price, if possible, and I found this one.  After it came, it was a LOT SMALLER than expected, & smaller than the other one, which was of plastic, and made a much bigger rose.  So, you get what you pay for.  This makes about a 2" rose, so will also come in handy, not all roses need to be big. lol  I will probably end up getting the other one too.

Thanks a lot Goreti!  Nice coming from you, since you know a lot about roses.

For the biggest one here, I cut out four at once.  Cut each in half lengthwise, applied water to straight edge on 1, then place the other half on top, offset to allow for doing 2 rows at once.  Apply water to straight edge again & start rolling from the smaller end, I started bending petals outward as I went.  I repeated these steps on each set, then rolled one after the other around the first one, to get the larger rose.

On the next to the largest, I thinned the edges & cupped the petals with the ball tool before sticking them together to roll up.  I think it helped the appearance some.  I used 3 cutouts (of the double rows) on this one.

I used my new petal dusts, from Elite Color, and I love them.  They are just a little shimmery, and cover very well, and I love the colors offered.   I used a different color for each of these 6 roses.
