Flamenco cake-

This is a 3-tier cake I made for my cousins 15yr anniversary. It was a latin dance theme so the cake was made to represent the flamenco dancers costume. The bottom tier is the mans embroidered pants. This is covered with a homemade fondant and then hand painted and piped to represent embroidery. The second tier is the womans shawl. This is also coverered with a homemade fonadant, hand painted and then piped to represent the fringe on the shawl. The top tier is the ruffled flamenco dress covered with homemade fondant, handpainted polka dots and the ruffles are also made from fondant. The topper is made with real flowers and a spanish hair comb for the womans hair. All cakes and fillings are homemade. Top to bottom flavors are lemon cake w/lemon curd & cream cheese filling, spice cake w/vanilla cream cheese filling, dark chocolate cake w/espresso filling. All of the piping is with homemade buttercream.
