Thanks, it was more of an imaginative lilly, but i see the orchid in it now! haha. I rolled a small 'worm-like' shape of the fondant in my hand-maybe an inch and a half-and then cut lines in the ends and rolled them out to be more stamen-like. Then put that on the wire. Then, since I have no real flower cutters, i used a large leaf cutter and cut out the petals, rolled out the edges, and glued three on that center piece overlaying the ends a bit.then placed the other two over them to form the star pattern. Then i dusted the center in a buttercup yellow dust, the inside of the petals I used a white shimmer dust and the edges in a poppy red dust.I then got my brush a little wet and used that same poppy red to paint the lines in the petals. The entire bouquet i got done in less then 2 hours including making the fondant so i really did not give it enough time to dry the petals in a more opened/bloomed shape.that would have been better, but this was just for practice.hope this helps!

Very nice! May I ask how you made the orchid?
