Hi Anne, Thank you so much for your kind comment.  Actually the flowers on this cake are all royal icing.  This was my first attempt at stacking a cake and also royal icing flowers.  It's one of my favorites.

Thanks I loved the way this cake turned out. It was my first and as of right now, my only, stacked cake. I really enjoyed making this one. I took it to my daughter at school and she fed it to the rest of the RA's in her dorm at one of their weekly meetings.
