First attempt at a package cake
My husband got a new external hard drive on Saturday and has been cleaning up his old computer and we found some of my old photos of cakes that I had totally forgotten about. This one was my very first attempt at making a package cake. Not too beautiful, but I had to learn somehow...and am still learning.

Oh, Nadia, look at the side in front. It has icing all over the yellow, and the corner seams are pinched, to the very back I had cut the white fondant too small and so I had yellow showing....the cake board has yellow fondant on it, and the cake isn't even centered on the 'round' board that should have been square. It was an experience of learning.....learning what Not to do in the future! Lol!

Why do you think it is not beautiful.In my opinion is very pretty.I didn't make a pakage cake and I don't know how to make.I am in awe of all your work.
