Fireman's Helmet- 122F

This is a cake I made for my Grandfather's 72nd birthday. I used rolled fondant to make the brim which I let dry and harden. I sest that atop a 9x13 cake and then trimmed around. The top of the hat is cake that I baked in a glass bowl. I used fondant strips to build up the hat lines and then covered completely with fondant. Luster dust was brushed on the triangles for a "reflector" look.
