This has been the most relaxing cake I have ever done. I told myself ahead of time I wasn't go to wait until last minute to do it all. So on Sunday I made the balls for the necklace, the #10, flowers and shaped the base of mini purse and cup from RKT. I covered the tea cup with fondant and melted 6 chocolate wafers and put it on the inside of the teacup and swirled it at the top a bit to give the effect of hot chocolate I have finally learnt to use my funky letter cutters. Yay! The art is insuring the fondant drys a little bit if you don't want to use Gum Tex and ensuring you have sufficient shortening on your working surface before cutting the letters. The blush brush, eye shadow, necklace, tea cup and handbag with exception of the toothpicks here and there for support and the rhinestones on the mini purse and floss and ribbon on necklace it can all be eaten.
