Thanks Betty.  After watching ALL of those videos on Craftsy, I got in the mood to try at least a few of them, before I forgot what I had seen. lol  They have 141 cake decorating classes, of which I already have 39.  So that left 102 classes that I had to look at, while I could during the month of Oct. only.  And I did it!  That is why I disappeared for a while there.  AND it was very enlightening overall.  Now I hope I can remember what I have seen, for a while at least.  The cabbage rose was the first one I tried, and now this one.  And believe it or not, all the holes in the petals in the pics, belong there! lol

The 4 stages of my peony.  The rest of the individual petals are in the large clear plastic flower formers in the top rt. corner.

For a side view:

Lack of proper lighting makes it look a little more purplish here, instead of pink.
