Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Just threw this together. I should have tried harder. I didn't know how to work with that gold dust stuff and mixed it with water and painted it on the leaves. I should have just used it dry. I also didn't have enough fondant to make the leaves go all the way around. I should have used something else or mixed up some buttercream icing to pipe around where the layers meet. I was in a hurry and no one was paying for it... but still, should have tried harder. I used homemade fondant (marshmellow). I still can't wait to try a new cake and improve on this one. It still tasted wonderful. I used whipping cream between layers of chocolate pudding cake (Dunkin Hinz).
