Made new fairies, this time I used mold. They do look a bit better. My experimental wings was easier to make than the gelatin wings. They are thinner and feel like real wings. And definitely lightweight. Want to guess what?

If you look at the center fairy's wing you can see that it has different colors. You use your brush and just pint them in and allow to spread. It was fun!

Jem Petal Powder. Mixed a bit to make glue. The lid was left open and when I wanted to close it I saw the thin transparent skin in the lid. I lifted it and it felt flimsy and smooth. I then made a bit more and colored it with powder. I dropped a bit on cling wrap, left it under my dry light. (Normal round bulb) Went to look at it 2 hours later. It was dry. I then made a bit thicker blend. I placed my wing print under the cling wrap and started to paint the wing with a thin paintbrush. These I left outside in the sun and wind (on the windowsill). It pulls of easily when completely dry but if not dry enough it shrivels up a bit. Works like a charm and dissolves easily if a child should eat it.

Magdalena, this are just too lovely for words.  They remind me of a book my mother gave me when I was just a wee thing called 'Flower Fairies of the Summer'.  Want to guess what?  do tell please!!!!!!!!!!!
