HOw do you make the towers for this... its beautiful ... i'd love to be able to make my grandaughter a fairy castle for her birthday x

hi sue the turrets were made from plaque paste i think it's the same as pastillage (not sure)  mixture can't be too soft, i used the inside of the paper towelling roll to get the shape and size it dries rather quick

Your cakes are fantastic - did you make the turrets from pastillage - they are perfect.  Mine don't work out quite like yours!
